Visibility through our retractable solar shades.
See how well you can surprisingly see through this incredible 97% sun shade fabric? Because the camera was taking this shot at an angle, not straight on, the outward visibility looks a bot distorted. But take it from me, you can see through this solar shade fabric very well.

Privacy from our Austin Texas retractable patio blinds.
You will get a lot of privacy out of our Made her in Austin TX patio blinds. We make our patio blinds out of a 97% sun shade fabric. You can see out, but not in during the day. Now, the reverse is true at night, you can see in if the lights are on under the patio.
Look how nice this installation looks. The patio blinds we installed went down past there metal hand rail and we installed some rubber bumpers on them to keep them from clanking when the wind moved them around.
Securing a patio roller shade from the wind.
We use a bungee tie down system to hold our retractable patio roller blinds in the down position. These are not made for strong winds. The density of the shade fabric is 97%, which is only 3% less than that of a sail on a boat.
We very much encourage everyone that wants their patio to get shaded by one of our retractable solar shades to not have them down when it is windy. the tie downs will hold them, but you do not need nor want all of that pulling that you get from the wind.
Bumpers installed on our patio screens for sun relief.
To keep the metal from the bottom of patio screens from clanking against the metal handrail on your patio.
To keep you from hearing a clanking sound for when the sun relief retractable screens get blown around, we will use these Made in USA rubber bumpers.
Installing our solar shades on barndominium bay doors.
This was easy to install, as the openings of the bay doors was trimmed in wood. So mounting to that wood was a snap. This picture is of the grey / white 97% solar shade fabric.
We also have Austin TX solar screens for windows, that we install over windows. For those, the highest level of shade we offer is 90%. For these pull up solar shades, we go all the way up to 97%.
What kind of sunshade can you expect to get from the patio shades?
As you can see here, you get quite a bit of good filtered shade. Only 3% of the sun’s light is getting through. This makes for a well shaded patio and porch area.
