This is a very odd installation. This customer only wanted solar screens on their non‑opening windows of their Teravista Round Rock TX home, the windows that they did not have blinds on. I really expected these guys to call us back later on to finish off the rest of the windows. To my surprise, they did not. I don’t recommend an installation like this. I think it looks bad.
It’s not effective if you’re getting sun with just this side of the house facing west, they’re getting sun on all of those windows. Therefore, they should have put solar screens on all of their windows. I think from a budget standpoint and a monetary standpoint, they wanted to do at least as they possibly could get away with.
