Shown here is a beautiful home in Round Rock TX. It is a newer home, probably about three years old when we did this solar window screens Round Rock TX job. The customer had around 38 windows on their house that made up this solar screens Round Rock TX job. They had us build a solar screen for every window of the home.
One of the things that I like about this job is, see those dormer windows there? And there is window going into the garage there on the second floor. There are many people out there that would have asked us to not put solar screens on those windows, but we did for this customer.

This customer was not worried about the solar screen cost, and the cost respectfully wasn’t all that much.
We did build solar screens for those windows, and also those three windows, the two dormer windows and the window above the garage. It did cost the customer a little bit more to do the arches.

The customer has this beautiful home. They didn’t want a single window uncovered because, from an aesthetic standpoint, it would not have looked as good. Imagine seeing this home without solar screens on some of these windows, how unattractive that would have been. The homeowner wanted us to use the 90% solar screen fabric for every window on this home.
The installed cost to complete this solar screens Round Rock TX installation was only $1,700. That’s $1,700 to build a solar window screen for every window of this Round Rock home. And to upgrade all 29 of the windows to the 90% solar screens fabric.
Here on the front side of this Round Rock solar screens project, we put solar window screens on the sidelight Windows around the front door. We made one large solar screen to fit over the two windows over the front door. That’s a rectangular non opening window with a half circle window on top of it. For that entire opening, for both windows, we were able to make one solar screen to fit over the both of them. And then we made two half circle solar window screens as you can see they’re on the second floor.

This is an old Round Rock solar window screens installation that I did back in 2011, when the camera I had wasn’t all that great. So, the pictures here do not look all that great. The screens themselves look really dark.
This home could have used a couple of our sun shades for decks and patios attached there to the roof overhang to have provided shade for the back patio sitting area.
This home may have looked good if we used our champagne-colored framing for the solar screens. That champagne would have tied in really well with the brick. I think it would have looked better had we used that champagne frame instead of the white. That white framing really makes a bold statement going around those screens. If it was champagne it would have been less of a statement and would have blended well with the brick.
